Today is Saturday, July 9th -- the day before the bike-a-thon. We started the day by taking one of our cars to the finish line of the bike-a-thon. We'll need it to get home tomorrow.
Then we went to the March of Dimes WalkAmerica Thank You Party. It was at the Phillies stadium. Thanks to our great sponsors, we raised more money than any other children and won the Top Youth Walker Award for the 6th straight year.
That's us with Amy Freeze, she is on TV. She gave us our awards.
After the WalkAmerica party we got to stay for the Phillies game. During the game, the Phanatic came right up to our seats. Then we went and stuffed our own Phanatics.
After the game we went to an Expo for the bike-a-thon riders. We learned how to play pool and played in the arcade. We won enough tickets to each get a stuffed puppy.

With only three more days until the bike-a-thon our dad said we needed to make sure to get a ride in today. Since it was supposed to rain tonight and Mommy was off today, we rode in the morning. She did a god job of unloading and loading the bikes. It was the first time she did it by herself. But she needed the practice because she has to do it on Sunday.

Today we rode along the Erie Canal. We saw a lot of boats and ducks. The path was made of rocks, so it was hard to ride on and it was really dusty. Our dad will have to wash our bikes when we get home.

Today we rode on a back rode near Lake Seneca in New York. It had more hills than the bike path at home. But it was more like the bike-a-thon will be. I started riding with Mommy but ended with Daddy. At the end of the ride we went down a really steep hill. Good thing we didn't have to go up it.
