WalkAmerica 2006

Today was WalkAmerica.

We had a really good time.

We got to talk to all the walkers from the stage before the walk began. And then we started the walk in a fire truck. Yep, we got a ride in a fire truck instead of walking.

It didn't take us the whole way though. Just a little bit (but Mommy wishes it was longer).

After our ride we got out and walked. And just a couple hours later we were done.

We all rode together today. Not too far, just 5-1/2 miles. We still have plenty of before the bike-a-thon.

The first ride of the year

The weather has been really nice, and softball hasn't started yet, so I went for my first ride of the year.

It was only a few miles, but it was fun.

I want to ride 43 miles in the bike-a-thon this year.
