Yep, it's still raining

Today it rained for our whole ride.

We didn;t ride long, but the bike-a-thon is getting close and we want to be ready.

Today we were supposed to ride even longer than yesterday. But once again the rain cut our ride short.

We were supposed to go for a long ride today, but we had to cut it short because of the rain.

We even ended up riding some of the way in the rain.

Happy Father's Day!

On this Father's Day we went for our official longest ride of the year(other then the bike-a-thon). We started at Norristown then rode up to Oaks and back down to Norristown then down to Spring Mill. Next we rode into Philidelphia. it was around lunch time by then so we stopped and bought some lunch(I had a sandwich. I wanted a hot dog but they did not have any.). After that we rode to the art museum and then we rode back to a bridge where Mom and Noelle picked us up. I rode about 40 miles. That is 10 miles less than half of what I will be riding in the bike-a-thon.

On this day, Noelle also went on a long ride. We all rode toghther for the first 3 hours or the first 26 miles. Noelle rode for 3 hours in that 3 hours she rode 26 miles.

Rain ends Lady Pirates season

Our softball season came to a soggy end today.

After playing through 4 innings in the rain, we were losing by 1 run.

In the 5th inning our first two batters got out. Then I hit a triple and scored on an overthrow to tie the game.

But while the next batter was up, the umpire called the game because of the rain. The 5th inning didn't count and we lost by 1 run.

We played really hard this year and had a lot of fun even if we don't get to play in the championship game.

Lady Pirates win play-off opener

We did it! We won our first play-off game.

And our coach got us each a special Lady Pirates bandana to wear for the play-offs.

They are really cool. And we're they only team to get them.

Now we get to play the first place Yankees.

Our first play-off game was rained out today.

Now we have a to wait until Monday.

Lady Pirates win again

We did it again. We won our last regular season softball game.

We finished the season in 3rd place, with a 5 and 4 record.

Now it's on to the play-offs.

A long ride and a spill

Today we went on a long ride, our longest of the year so far.

It got off to a bit of a bad start though, when I took a little spill.

I got a few cuts and hurt my side when i flipped over my bike.

After my Mom cleaned me up, we were riding again.

When we were ddone, I had ridden 33 miles.
